Youth Leading Youth Growing in Faith
The Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod LYO, Lutheran Youth Organization, brings youth together from all over Arkansas and Oklahoma. Together, our youth plan and lead their own events. In a leadership lab environment, youth discover skills for organizing people and getting things accomplished like the annual Younger Youth Gathering, an overnight lock in with Bible Study, worship, service, crafts, and other fun activities.

For every LYO event, please take time to fill out each of these three forms for each of your youth going to the event. Each youth must have one to participate!

AUDLT LEADER BACKGROUND CHECK
It is the policy of the Arkansas-Oklahoma Synod, that all adults working with youth during synod events like LYO, must have a completed criminal background check on file at the synod office. These background checks need to be renewed every 3 years. We do not recommend or endorse a particular background check service. Please contact the synod office for a list of options that other congregation use. Congregations are responsible for acquiring and paying for background checks.
