Dear Friends:
Recently a group of women leaders and pastors along with Bp Mike visited with the Morogoro Dioceses of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. Bp. Mamao along with other leaders from that diocese gave them a tour of the school that is in the process of being completed. What is left to complete is the dining hall for the children. The school serves elementary children.
As the companion synod to the Morogoro Diocese we were asked to consider helping them in the completion of this project. We would like to raise $5000 by the end of September. Could you please make folks aware of this request ? As a challenge Peace Lutheran Church in Edgemont, AR will match the first $1000 raised.
