As you probably know, most of our spring cluster gathering has to be canceled due to COVID-19 travel and in-person meeting restrictions. Seeing as how our opportunities to meet and interact in larger groups will be on hold for a while, and knowing how much we all treasure the time we get to spend with our sister-in-Christ from across the Synod, the Board is trying something new. We will be holding a Synod-wide spring bible study and gathering on June 13th at 9:00 a.m. We'll be doing a lot of the same stuff we would normally do at our spring gatherings (bible study, discussion, fellowship), just through zoom instead of in-person.
This Spring’s meeting theme is Love-Deeply Rooted, which is based on Ephesians 3:17, “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” Pastor Kara Shaw will facilitate and Susan Humphrey will lead the Bible Study. We will gather around our computers, tablets and Smartphone screens to learn, share, play and pray.
All are welcome, but we ask you to please register by June 8th. Susan will me mailing out a packet to everyone, and we need to allow time for it to reach you in the mail. (Of course, if you forget to get it in by the 8th, you will still be welcome, you just may not have a full packet). To help with meeting security, we will only be sharing the zoom invitation with people who have registered. There is no cost, but we do hope that you will prayerfully consider making a small donation through our tithe.ly account.
You can register at the link below. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Susan (firstname.lastname@example.org) or to me (Nia) by replying to this email.
